Who we are
PRODEC was established in 1987, our factory and headoffice is in New Germany, Pinetown, with distribution centres in Durban and Johannesburg.
PRODEC has been assessed and accredited with the SABS ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management Systems certificate in respect of the manufacture and supply of decorative enamels, water based coatings as well as primers, sealers and undercoats.
We are also members of the South African Paint Manufacturers Association, the Natal and Gauteng Master Builders Associations as well as the Durban Chamber of Commerce.
Our main focus has been to provide our customers with a quality range of products at competitive pricing, backed up by excellent service and support.
As a paint manufacturer with a good reputation in the industry, we are working with raw material suppliers to constantly keep abreast of technological changes in the industry which enable us to keep in touch with market activity.
Our quality products are supplied into a large cross-section of the market from resellers, property maintenance, building/painting contractors etc.
We are especially proud of the fact that we are the preferred supplier with some of the leading financial institutions and residential developments.
What we can do for you.
Problem Solving:
When you think paint, think PRODEC. PRODEC has years of experience to enable us to assist in solving paint-related problems. A representative from PRODEC will call on your site and inform you how to rectify any problems and then write a specification relevant to the building. We will also take samples from the site for quality and colour matching purposes.
Painting specifications for buildings:
PRODEC has the expertise to write a painting specification for your building, or to advise you on what coating systems should be used for maximum protection on the specific substrate.
A representative from PRODEC will monitor the job that has been specified using PRODEC. He/she will ascertain the progress and record any defaults if necessary.
Computerised tinting system:
PRODEC has the latest computer technology for matching and tinting colours of your choice. We are also licenced to NCS (Natural Colour Systems), the leading paint colour systems for colour communications in architecture. PRODEC prides itself on our quality and service and we will do our utmost to satisfy important customers like yourselves.
